Praying for peace for the Bilpo's

It was tough to hold it together this afternoon. In the late morning today, Ethan Bilpo passed away. There was a very surreal feeling in the halls today. Everyone, meaning the nurses, were just devastated to hear the news. I have gotten to know Ethan and Sandy while staying at Mott for frequent visits due to Ethan's PLE. Please pray for strength for the family to be able to get through these days to come. As I mentioned in a few comments on carepages and blogs today........Our hearts are broken, but Ethan's is now whole. We love you kiddo and we sure will miss you!!
Heart Blessings~

So sorry to hear this news. I checked out his carepage, what a sweet little boy. It is devastating for everyone in the heart community and just reminds us all of the fight our heart babies endure each and every day. I have read a lot about PLE and it really scares me, especially after getting through the surgeries then that to contend with. My heart goes out to his family and sending many prayers to Michigan tonight...

Lots of love to you guys and another another note, I LOVED Lindsay's birthday invite! So, so cute :) What a wonderful celebration it will be!!!

My heart is heavy for you as I KNOW how close you get with these other heart families and how desperately you want their sweet hearts to thrive. Praying for Ethans hurting family in their grief. Also praying for Sydneys family especially as this is the condition Evie had. If she would like to talk or read my blog, please pass on my info if there is any way I can encourage their family. We will certainly be holding that sweet girl in prayer in the days to come.
Wish we could make it for Lindsays birthday! Know you'll make it a very special celebration!

I'm so sorry to hear about Ethan. I've heard so many PLE stories and it's heartbreaking. Sending prayers to the Bilpo family!
