Good Day

Lindsay has had a very good day today. She even had a few visitors. Cousins Jody, Kirk, and Erin came to see Lindsay today and she certainly was all smiles for them. With a little nap while we were chatting a bit. It was so nice to see them and hope that they had a safe trip back home. We miss you already!
JR left today to head home. He was supposed to leave tomorrow but decided tonight since we are supposed to get freezing rain here over night and was best to not have to drive in that all the way home. Probably the best decision. He starts back to work on Monday. Sad, I know, but the one who carries insurance has to work. :-( I am going home on Thursday afternoon to be able to work at Cole's school on Friday. Yes, I will remember snack this time!!! Still feeling bad about that one. :-) He is so excited and it will be good to see the boys again for a few days.
I know all of you are probably going through picture withdrawl but I can't download pictures with the laptop that I'm using. I don't have the camera software downloaded so I will run to Walgreen's tomorrow (your welcome Dan G!) and get all of the new ones loaded on a disk. She has been so happy and smily that I can't wait to share all of the latest ones. If you are thinking of visiting, now is definately the time because she is feeling so good. Looks like the beginning of the week she will be getting the second dose of Retuxin and please pray that this dose does some kind of good. The blood that she recieved this week will not help the numbers any but only time will tell. We aren't going anywhere and she isn't having any cardiac episodes, so bring it on Dr. G! Thanks again for keeping our sweet baby in your prayers. We love you all!
Heart Blessings~
Suzie

Evie's Story said...

Suzie,
I just feel a heavy heart for you after reading your post. I remember one of the hardest times for me when Evie was in the hospital was when Chad left to go back to Ukraine (to pack up our life and bring all our stuff home). Even tho Evie was fairly stable at that point, I just depend on him so much for support and felt the bottom dropping out emotionally when I didnt have him to lean on. I certainly know what you are feeling friend and am praying strength and comfort for you.

Definitely know where Lindsay gets her strong spirit from!!

Love to you!

We are so glad to hear everything is going well!! I have to tell you we start to worry when we don't hear anything... Anyway, Shawn will be glad to have JR back to work tomorrow, I'm sure. Suzie are you still booking trips for Ultra Tan and Travel?? We have to book a trip to Alaska in August and I couldn't find a website to contact you there. Anyway, if you get a second and wouldn't mind my email is monicaeldred@sbcglobal.net

Take care and give the princess a hug for us!

We are so...happy to hear that Lindsay is doing so well. We will pray that her next dose of Retuxin goes well also. Dan says that he appreciates the trip to Walgreens, but mostly because we are going through picture withdrawl!!!
I can't even imagine what it's like when Jr has to head back home. Hard on him because he wants to be with his girls and hard for you girls because you want him there. This is when your "hearts" will come in handy. Remember you are always in his heart!!!!

Love,
Dan,Maggie,Ben,& Alli Geiger

Yes, sweet Suzie, we are having withdrawals from Lindsay pictures...although, staring in those big, beautiful eyes can hold anyone over!
Praying for you and JR as you are separated this week to care and provide for your precious children...for a wonderful visit at Cole's school...and, mostly, for Lindsay's continued improving heart health making her stronger every single day for a new heart!
We love you all~ Rebecca
