Suzie, I'm so glad that you titled this post "THE PRINCESS", because I just headed here to defend it...
I just feel the need to respond to "anonymous" who is concerned about the title Princess. Princess doesn't have to mean brat. Princess doesn't have to mean that she will feel entitled. Anyone who knows your family knows that Princess Lindsay will be hanging out with her daddy, King JR, watching Nascar and fixing cars in the garage. She'll also be wrestling with her brothers, the Princes, in the backyard. Her parents, the King and Queen, will not allow her to get away with anything!
My daughter is a princess as well. A well behaved, well mannered, sweet as pie, heart of gold princess! We use that term in the most loving way!
Sorry for rambling, just had to get that off my chest. We appreciate all of the updates and will continue to pray for Lindsay and everyone in her Kingdom :-)
Congratulations! So happy for all of you on how things are progressing. She looks wonderful. You are always in our thoughts and prayers! Love, Steve, Nancy, Kimberly, Susan and Makenna
Well...the Princess is a Rock Star, a Princess, and a Tough Cookie all rolled into one! Moving to Moderate Care already...gotta be some sort of record! People...this child just had a heart transplant last Saturday AM!!! Go, Lindsay, Go!!! We are so proud of you!
Congratulations Suzie and JR, AND Princess Lindsay!!What more wonderful news could you have? Keep up the mending, we love you. hugs and prayers, Don and Brenda
I have started following your story recently, as it totally tugs at our heartstrings! Our daughter was born with truncus arteriosis and had her surgery at U of M also. Seeing your pics and hearing your stories brings it all back and reminds us how very blessed we are!! (Our Brynn is 2 now and doing wonderfully!) I have cried many happy tears for your Lindsay, and will continue to pray for her everyday!!
Love, The Flanders Family (Chad, Brooke, Brady, Adrienne, and Brynn) :)
So Very Happy for Princess Lindsay! I remember her with a huge brown bow on her head when our Madi was also in Moderate Care -- she is so darn CUTE!! Praying that the rest of her recovery goes as smoothly and uncomplicated as it has so far. GO LINDSAY GO!! Can't wait to see photos of her playin' and lovin' on her brothers!! Gramma TJC

Great Job Lindsay! You are so strong and just one unbelievable little girl!
I am so glad I have had the pleasure of getting to know you through this site and want you to know I am loving you with all my heart and am so proud of you!
And I just have to say... she IS a PRINCESS and I'm quite certain that as she grows, she will be a PRINCESS that knows that if you don't have something nice to say, you shouldn't say it at all! After all, PRINCESSES have good manners :) I just had to say that... don't let anyone ruin your day of REJOICING!
Everytime I get on the website it just seems to be better and better. Before you know it you will have Lindsay home; home isn't that an amazing word. Still sending prayers and love ... big hugs from the Snyder's
I know where moderate care is, Lindsay knows I have direction issues. My girlie-girl is just simply the best and is looking out for her old aunt! We just couldn't be more pleased--you go girl! See you on the big Bday!!love always, AuntC and UncleRoc
Lindsay IS a real princess...she is definitely one of God's most gracious royal little daughters..of that I have no doubt! I am still happily stunned by the miracle-moderate care in under a week...we know there is a long road ahead, but we know our prayers have been answered time and again in her behalf..she has helped countless people's faith, hope, and charity to grow and grow and grow...may she be "Princess" Lindsay til she's old and gray. It's a beautiful day up in heaven. Jesus is rounding up his tiniest angels, to go live on earth, and be born. One of the sweetest angels says to Jesus "I don't want to leave, I like it here, and I will miss you". He reassures the scared little angel that everything will be okay, and that he is just going for a visit. He is still not swayed on this idea. So Jesus kneels down, and says, "How about if you leave half of your heart here with me and take the other half with you, will that be okay?" The angel smiles and says, "I guess that will work". But the little angel is still a little scared. He asks,"Will I be okay with only half of my heart?" Jesus replies,"Of course you will, I have other angels there that will help out, and you will be fine." Then Jesus gives the angel more details about his plan. He says "When you are born, your mommy will be scared, so you have to be strong, and when you feel weak just remember that I have the other half of your heart". "Enjoy your time with your family, play and laugh everyday." "And when its time to come back to heaven, I will make your heart whole again. Always remember that you are not broken, just torn between two loves."
