It has been the best day!

It has been a busy day but a great one despite not having our princess with us. The blood drive was a complete success and is actually still going on as we speak. So much so, I hear that a second date has been planned to get in all of the people that we couldn't do today. At total of 64 units were donated today! What a wonderful community effort.
We also just got done interviewing with News Channel 3 and Lindsay's story will be aired on tomorrow nights broadcast. Most likely at the 11pm time slot. Also, Patti (Lindsay's personal photographer) just made my Christmas! She has posted some pre-views on her blog so I urge everyone to take a peak. Just click on her link on the left to view them! Thank you so much for coming to capture these moments that we would have never been able to get otherwise.
I have also posted the video that was played while people were waiting at the blood drive.http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=76f342f96fb68b30d5494b&skin_id=701&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url
Just called and checked in on Linds and the doctors have decided to d/c one of her IV diuretics and do orally. She is a little on the dry side so hopefully it will help. Pretty sure that is will and then she will start to feeling like her self again. Mindy is with her again tonight and she said that she has started to smile a little bit more today.
I will update more later!
Love you all!
Suzie

You know I check this site everyday and I am so glad to see how wonderful your day has been. When I pulled up the site, Lindsay's big blue eyes were shining so brightly--what a doll! As always, we are praying daily that Lindsay receives her new heart soon. I am so glad to have found your site. God bless you guys this Christmas!!!!

To have my family come together without provocation for such a beautiful little one is the greatest gift I could ever hope to recieve. Without knowing one another personally your family has become an intregal part of ours. The princess and boys are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. As parents we are required to stay strong and brave for our little ones. Use any of our strength when you need too. It will always be here for you.

Dean Family:
I now check your blog every day and got hooked the first time I saw Lindsay's big blue eyes and heart catching smile. I check on Kayleigh Freeman every day and pray for her and now I pray for Lindsay as well.

I loved your video. I didn't understand the whole story but now I know from your video. You have a beautiful family. I will keep praying that your Princess will get her new heart soon.

Merry Christmas! God will carry you all through this and He will choose the perfect time for everything.

I was watching the news tonight and saw Lindsay's story. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I had a baby boy May 20th who was diagnosed with Pulmonary Artesia. He also had open heart surgery but went into cardiac arrest three weeks afterward and we had to let him go shortly after that. He was also at U of M. (It's an amazing place)

Lindsay is absolutely adorable! I will continue to pray for her and follow her story.

HI,

My heart gose out to you all.

I am a kidney transplant of 28 years. I was e-mailed from The Gift of Life about coming to the blood drive, by they e-mailed me, 2 days before it. If you have another one I would love to come and tell and show people what a transplant can do. One of my friends is a kindey & liver transplant. She was transplanted (I think) when she was 16months. She is 22 years old now. I was transplanted at the age of 19 and I'm 47. I live in Portage and if you would like to talk to me, my e-mail address is getzj1980@yahoo.com
I have you in my thoughts.
