New Backgrounds........

Can anyone tell me what all of these pictures have in common??

She is OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!! Finally, after 6 1/2 months of being in the hospital, she went outside!!!Needless to say, Lindsay enjoyed every single minute of it! (mommy did too!) I really do think this was one of the best days of my life! I got to the hospital this morning and asked if it would be ok since she has been pretty stable lately. The answer was YES!! So, hospital stroller with two pumps attached and an oxygen tank in tow, off we went! I took her to the courtyard and then picked her up out of her stroller. The wind started to blow and she realized that something was moving her hair. She felt her head and then looked and me with the biggest smile. Oh, my heart just melted and then of course, I cried! She just loved it! We stayed for a little while and then back to her room for a blood draw. After that, we went back outside to get some more pictures. This time I picked a shadier area and let her feel the grass. That was too cute in itself. Something new?? WOW! Simply amazing day!
I am now back at home with my boys and of course calling on Lindsay every couple of hours. Back on Sunday! Enjoy the photos!
Heart Blessings from one very happy momma!

It is as a fellow heart mother that has been in the hospital just about as long as you the most awesome feeling to take your child outside. I posted on my carepage earlier also that Mr.Miguel went outside today for the first time in....? Anyways we are praying that her angel heart comes and when it does that it indeed is the perfect heart for your princess.
Much LOve,
Esperanza and Miguel.

Oh Suzie...what a GIFT to see that sweetheart enjoying Gods gift of spring! You really need a personal photographer to follow you around because Im quite convinced that every expression she makes is SO cute and YOU need to get in on some of those pictures with her!

Oh the things I will never take for granted again. I remember our first stroller ride in the hospital and how liberating it was just to get out of the room! Glad you had such a beautiful day with your sweet Lindsay!!!!!!!

Hi, Suzie!

Every time I look at Lindsay's pictures, I see her great grandma, Margaret, in her face and eyes. I know she would have loved her dearly and so would have her great grandpa, Carrol Lindsay.

I hope she'll get the transplant she needs soon!

Dear Mrs. Suzie,

I'm Patrícia, I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I'm 19 years old. I've been reading Lindsay's blog for months and months but never had the guts to leave a comment. Now I feel like doing so, even though I'm not very good with words.

I'd just like to say that you, Lindsay and your family's story has always touched me deeply. Even though I'm far away, I think of you all every day and pray everyday that things will be okay for you all. Lindsay is such a blessing, I showed the blog to my mother some weeks ago and now she also follows your beautiful story of strengh and faith.

I'd just like to say that, even though I do not know you and even though I may never meet you, I most admire you and love sweet Lindsay. Every night I pray to God and to the helping hands of the Saints from my Catholic faith, for them to look over you, your familly and your special little girl. And I know our faiths may differ, but our allmighty God is the same.

As I said, I'm not very good with words, but I hope you hear that and understand it and feel the sincerity of my words. All the best to you all, and that God and all his angels bless you and shine upon you every day of your life.

Lots of hugs and a tiny kiss on Lindsay's cute little nose,

Patrícia Nunes

I am one of Beautiful Lindsay's followers - I was so happy to read your post. It brought tears to my eyes. I know how special that must have been for the two of you. I keep praying that each time I open your blogsite that the announcement will be there about her heart being here. God's timing is always perfect.

Give her a big hug from all her cyber prayer warriors. She is just precious!

Suzie, I loved these pictures and this story so much that I wrote about it on my own blog. I posted a few pictures of Lindsay as part of the post. It didn't occur to me until after I wrote and posted it that I should have made sure it was okay with you before "talking" about her on my own blog! If you have any opposition or hesitations about it, please, please let me know and I will promptly delete it! Really though, this little girl just continues to teach me things every day and I felt the urge to write about her! I couldn't find a "private" way to get this message to you, so I guess it will be "public". Email me at danielleholtzman@cox.net if you are at all uncomfortable with my post! Love to you and Lindsay! And by the way... the wind was blowing like CRAZY this morning as I attempted to take an exercise walk. I was THANKFUL for it... I promise :) And yes, I thought of Lindsay and prayed for her while the wind "moved my hair"!

What a beautiful baby! It is so nice to see that you guys could be outside and enjoy the amazing weather and sunshine. We can all appreciate the green grass, but there is nothing like that moment of discovery for children. These are the moments that make it all worthwhile. We hope that you have many more days like this!
