Finally.....

she was taken down to the cath lab at 8pm. I think they are fitting EVERYONE in today so that they can have a nice long weekend! ;-) Now we continue to wait and pray that they are successful in finding a new access point for her PICC. I will update again probably in a few hours.

Praying all goes smoothly with the new PICC line, and that Lindsay gets a good nights rest, as well as her Mom and Dad also. So happy to hear her infection is improving and she is headed in the right direction. Baby steps are fine, as long as she is moving forward. May God continue to watch over your princess and grant her total healing. Thanks for the update.

Many hugs for Sweet Lindsay,
A Mom-Mom from NJ

Praying that everything goes smoothly with her picc line. As far as the g-tube it's not something that you want I know but compared to other things that our babies have been through it's nothing. lots of heart hugs!!

Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do! Lindsay is still with us and she and the doctors seem to find a way around every problem that comes up. Suzie, I told your mom Sunday that I have a feeling everything will turn out OK. Hang in there EVERYBODY!

I love the new pic of little miss!! Too cute. I am sorry for all of the extra hoopla that is going on. I think Mia got a culture everyday because she had a fever every day, and when they came back positive- I wanted to pull my hair out.

I will pray that the antibiotics wipe it out. We battle the white blood cell count constantly. I think it is the transplant creed!

I have heard of a lot of mom's being glad they went with the G-tube.

I hope everything going flawlessly in the cath lab.

You guys are soooo close!!!

Hi guys--

Well, so be it... this will be good for her and it's only temporary. You are so very strong and I can hear your light heartedness in your writing. I hate that any parent has to endure what you guys have gone through, but God only chooses the best and the strongest for the job!

It's great to hear that her infection is clearing. We pray that her PICC line is placed well and that the surgery is a success! Sorry it's not the greatest weekend, but this holiday is a little overrated when you have young kids, anyway.

Love you,

Michelle

I hope things are going well for you. A G-tube will make things better for long term. She'll still be able to do what she normally does, with a few adjustments.
