Update.........

Lindsay is scheduled for , are you ready for this one, a Nuclear Medicine Gastric Emptying Scan. Basically to check and see how quickly her stomach is emptying out, I think. ;-) This should take place sometime before 1pm tomorrow. Until then~

I know that I am almost 19, but I've had four of those when the specalists were trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I am not sure how they work with babies, but they are not so bad. Good luck though!

My mother has had this done 2 times in the past year, and she said it was nothing to worry about. I know your little one is a tough fighter, she is going to do great, we will keep her and all of you in our prayers

My son has had so many of these, they don't even have to hold him still anymore. :( Anyway, is lindsay on any heart meds now? The reason I ask is that most of them given IV cause reflux. and GI seems to forget that if the kids haven't had anything in their stomachs for awhile, 9 times out of 10 they aren't going to reflux. Everything is going to move on easily becuase the entire bowel is empty. Lots of times the problem is actually a slow intestine and things just get backed up, causing the reflux. I am sure you have heard that hoofbeats/zebra saying. Most of the time I just want to smack the docs when they trot that out. This is the one instance that I like throwing it back at them! LOL!

We will be praying for you all for a good result tomorrow!

Lindsay truly gives new meaning to the words "high maintenance"! She is getting them to pull it all out. I am praying that it gives y'all more answers so you know which direction to go with Miss Priss!
Praising God that she's returning to her old self!!!
Love you~ Rebecca

What Steph Winter said....!! :)

I love all the info the heart moms give you...I am totally serious here...they have been through it and they know their heart babies! So...continue to question your docs to get the RIGHT answers, which I know I don't even have to tell you!!!

And keep getting better, Miss High Maintenance Princess! (the teenage years will be a breeze after all of this!!)

Love and hugs, Elaine

Hahaha! I'm a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and do those scans all the time! There's not a whole lot to it. You eat some radioactive food and we take pictures to see how fast or slow the food leaves the stomach. I hope it goes well!

Sounds like this is something that Lindsay should be able to handle with flying colors. Hopefully all goes well...

Thinking about you guys...
