She's Baaaaaack!!!!

Happy 13th month birthday princess!
Kissy Kissy!

Oh, Mom!!!!!!

"What? I'm not trying to take this bow off!! " This head band style will have to work for a while. The right side of her head was shaved because of the IV's!!!!! So, these will work in the meantime. ;-) Good thing they are cute!
Feedings are going great today and her incision site looks good as well. No leaks! Her echo from a few days ago was AWESOME!!!!!!! Dr. G said the muscle looked to be a little thick, but that was not shocking to him because he said that the donor was older than Lindsay and should be better as she grows. She is starting to play more and more and is definitely getting her personality back. She is starting to babble no-stop as she did before transplant! She is making everyone cry around here because of her improving so well. I have a feeling though that it is because they all know that she will be leaving very soon as well. Man, that will be a heart wrenching day but also a fantastic day all wrapped into one! Looking forward to it and not, if you know what I mean. So far so good here today!
Love,
Suzie

Crying tears of great joy for this sweet miracle baby :)

Oh how great our God is to these sweet little angels, Its hard to see him take any of them back but I know he knows when there time of suffering has become to great and he wants there suffering to end despite the heartache of those left to deal with the sadness, so my heart definatly breaks for the heart families that are greaving.

Lindsay you are so very special and some day you will share that love with the world and help others realize how important organ donation is for everyone!!!

Keep fighting we know you can do it honey :) Lots of daily prayers are sent your way from our family.

We have all lived through great lessons following Lindsay's tough journey. My faith has increased so much and I have learned to trust more in the Lord and calm my fears. This child is a living testimony that God Lives and that Jesus is our Saviour and thru the power of the Holy Ghost all can be made whole again. Love from Owen's Gramma Vicki

It will be a bittersweet departure but in the end I am certain everyone there is extremely excited that you will be going home for great reason! You guys have been blessed with a very strong willed, fighter and it because of they love and support from her family and friends that she will continue to heal and grow into a wonderful little girl. You guys are so lucky to have such a fighter and I am sure she can't wait to get home into her own room and bed at night! It is amazingly wonderful you guys...

those pictures made me tear up.. she is such a beautiful baby and to go through what she has as such a young age. I am so glad things are going well for her. I love the headband bows. My 11 month old wears them all the time (well for the 5 minutes she leaves them on her head).

So exciting to start to talk about her coming home. Remember to place her by the window so that all of us stalkers can peek in on her :-)

The parade was great this morning.
I wish you guys could have heard the people that cheered and chanted "she's coming home" when we drove by. It was amazing!

Okay...I keep meaning to go to bed...I'll be sorry when Avery gets into bed with us at 7 AM!!! But I read Aimee's comments and just had to say...it feels absolutely surreal to be talking about Lindsay coming home. She will ride in her big girl car seat, down I 94, and into Parchment and sleep in her own bed that night with her whole family. I think that's what I will thank God for tonight...such a simple, yet magnificent wish for you all...that you all come home and sleep under the same roof and begin again...

We love you and miss you like crazy...you would have loved today in Parchment! Everything was perfect!

Love, Elaine

I totally know what you mean Suzie, I would be terrified to bring her home, but I think that you know more about her meds and everything than some of the nurses! You guys will be great! And it was proven once again yesterday what an amaizing support system you have back here in Parchment... your stalker across the park will be on full alert!!! love you guys! Praying for you all. Love the pictures! God is so good! FEAR NOT my friends, He will never leave you!!!

It makes my heart smile and my eyes cry to see this smiling face again and to read your words about going HOME! Once again, I find myself appreciating the small things in life as I think about Lindsay and how you will finally get to enjoy some of those "small things" very soon... like taking her OUT the doors, buckling her into her carseat, driving with her IN the car with you, taking her out of the carseat, and walking in the door to your own HOME! Lindsay continues to inspire me and renew my spirit through her fight and miraculous life! Praying for that day to come so very soon! And by the way, she is precious with her headband bow (I actually miss them now that Emily is too big for them!) :) She is precious no matter what! Love and prayers... Danielle
