Our little Princess

Bill and Elaine (U of M alumni) and great friends came to visit just when Lindsay was getting released into moderate care. They couldn't have picked a better time to visit. Lindsay continues to improve every day.

Imagine the joy it is for Suzie and JR to finally dress their little princess.
I arrived back in Ann Arbor tonight and wanted to upload some pictures from the last few days. Yes, the time on this posting is now correct and it is late. Suzie has so much more to do with Lindsay now from feeding her (bottle and tube) and changing her. She's so hands on and has even learned how to insert the feeding tube. The more they learn to care for her, the sooner she can come home.
We're tired and I'll post more pictures tomorrow. I just knew that these would encourage everyone that our prayers are being heard. Keep it up!
Heart Hugs,
Linda

Oh, she is so cute, I can't wait to see her in person. I am so glad, Suzie, that you have more to do, such as feed her and change her, that is great. I am sure you don't mind being busy in that way.
See you soon

Our little princess is very cute in person.
I can't begin to tell you how much I miss being there and it has only been one night. I do not know how I am going to make it until Thursday if I do.
Stay strong Lindsay and Mommy and I will plan on seeing you Thursday if not before.
Love you!

Every single time that I see more pictures of Lindsay I fall deeper in love with her...and I am so sure that you do, too, every time you hold her, feed her, hold her little fingers and all the wonderful things you are getting to do now!
I would love to send another heart cloth your way...just email me the address to the hospital or whereever...I pulled one out for her a few days ago. (You'll probably really need it now that she's eating!)
Heart hugs & happiness~ Rebecca

PS- My girlfriends took me to NYC in May for a little getaway and we saw Slater in person in A Chorus Line...now, I was always a Zach fan but Slater is HOT and so much better looking than I thought until he walked 3 feet past us! :)

How precious!! She is beautiful. And spunky!!! No surprise to me...I too, remember those twirling days. Her Mommy was a force to be reckoned with. Such a tidy bundle of energy and talent! JR, it has to be the hardest thing for you to have to leave, I can't imagine. Our prayers are for strength for all of you. We think of you often and send lots of love hugs to you. Sharon Y

She just is more beautiful with each picture you put up. The only thing missing from your little princess is her tiara!

How wonderful that you can now do more "mommy" things like feed her and dress her. The little things that we all take for granted are such a huge step for little Lindsay.

It must have been heart breaking for JR to have to leave her, but what a blessing to have this site so all he has to do is open it up and see his beautiful little princess. Keep fighting little Lindsay, we're all rooting for you!

Angie, Ken, and the boys were in at the same time so they got to give him a big hug! We are so happy to hear the good news and can't wait to see you all!

Hey guys....sorry we have not gotten in touch since you have had Lindsay! I am so happy for you guys that things have gone well...with a few bumps...but look at her now! She does have the power of prayer and angels behind and surrounding her. She is beautiful and I am glad she is starting to work on the pacifier and bottle (the OT in me is showing through--hopefully those Occupational Therapists there are helping you out) I don't know when in the future you will be coming home, but if you need any hook ups with the Early On/therapy community...let me know. We will try to stay more on top of this blog!
