G-tube tomorrow

Well, after deliberation, the decision has been made to put in a g-tube. This will be minus the nissan wrap right now, but we all know how things can change! We are ok with this decision and I think we all anticipate that she really won't need it for too long. Don't know what time the surgery is tomorrow, but I will post that when I know. We are waiting for an echo right now, surgery tomorrow, and then we will be working on her feeds and then then.....drum roll please............WE GO HOME!!!!! This will probably be early next week!
Talk soon~

I'm glad to hear that things seem to be heading in the right direction. Our daughter had the nissan wrap with the g-tube placement and it was such a great success. Fortunately she had nowhere near the problems that Lindsay had. I will look forward to seeing your post that she is coming home!

Go Home! Yay! I have goosebumps for you guys! That is so awesome.

Like you I don't belive that she will have the G-tube for very long. I will continue to keep Lindsay and your family in my prayers.

I can't wait to see pictures of Princess Lindsay in her own home.

Honestly, I think that you will love the g-tube. It is great for all of the meds and feeds. I was not too sure about it at first, Kaidence's eating has been horrible after transplant and this is a great way to keep that hydrated and growing. We have had her a little over a year. Hope that you can get home very soon.

Those wonderful two words are very close now..."Go Home". When did you ever thing hearing those to words would mean so very much to a person? When did you ever think that going home would be so special for a family? These two words mean so much to all of you and I am so happy to hear that it is right around the corner for all of you. Lindsay...you have one more little procedure and then you get to "Go Home" sweetie. I can't imagine the anticipation and joy you all must feel.

We all miss home...

Oh what a great day it will be when you finally get to take Lindsay HOME!!!!! I will be praying for the princess during her Gtube surgery tomorrow. I think we have Owen's scheduled for September. They asked us about the Nissen and I so very politely declined. I can't imagine never being able to puke again...it's just too permanent for my liking.

Thanks for all the updates!

So glad the word H-O-M-E is being spoken to you guys! How exciting, can't wait for that post :) It will be a whole new world for Miss Lindsay! Good luck with the g-tube surgery tomorrow, I'm sure you'll like having that thing, especially for meds and gavaging extra feeds. Plus, Lindsay shouldn't have to deal with tubes on her face anymore!!! Beautiful girl, that one and I LOVE her picture on your blog heading, too cute.

Praying for a quick & successful surgery tomorrow that puts the Princess on the road home!

You know we love y'all and will be praying for your peace as your baby girl has another surgery (I know it's hard regardless of how minor...especially compared to all she's been through).

Just wanted to let you know, too, that I just got home from a special daddy/daughter dinner date & shopping for Luke with my dad and showed off the beautiful braclet you gave me! He loved it, too! Of course, I had to tell him the name of the store! :)

Love you~ Rebecca
