Ladies and Gentleman.....Her Highness

Here she is! No vent! WHOO HOOO!!!!!! She looks like a little angel and more like our little princess did 2 weeks ago. Yes, as of tomorrow, we have been residents of the RMH for 3 weeks. Three surgeries, 2 heart caths, and lots and lots of pee....here we are. :-)

No holding tonight because she was still a little unstable as far as keeping her O2 sats up when getting mad. However, when we left her tonight, her blood gas was perfect!! So, looking forward to it tomorrow! Nighty night.

Love, Suzie

HOORAY!!!!
Glad things are going well, she looks great :o)
We were really worried yesterday when we hadn't heard anything for a while.
I have had several people here in Texas that have been checking the blog asking me how Cruz is doing? It would be great if you could give us a little update on him. I hope that we didn't just miss the post?
Keeping the prayers coming your way!

Oh, I'm so glad I checked this one more time before I went to bed. You're right, she looks like an absolute angel. Sweet dreams, Princess. Get lots of rest as I'm sure you have a day full of love and snuggles coming up tomorrow!

Jr. and Suzie, I hope you are able to rest tonight as well. I had a wonderful visit with your mom today, so I know that you are completely at peace with the decision that you've made for Lindsay. Our continued prayers as you move forward in this journey with her.

What a little angel!!! It sounds like we are once again in similar situations with the transplant decision and where to go from here!! Owen is a little further along in the process, but it sounds like we're both at a fork in the road.

Prayers as you make this difficult decision!

What a glorious sight! She is absolutely beautiful!! Praying for her healing and the guidance of the doctors caring for her!

The heart story on your sidebar is very moving. I was tearing up by the end! Thanks for sharing! And the new header picture is gorgeous! She has the most beautiful eyes.

Praying you get to hold your baby girl today!!!!

YEAH!!! Good job girly! Looks like her bandage is off her chest, too! Looks good! Is the pacer still there? I hope you get to hold her today! Did you ask them if you put her on the list at U of M, do you then go to U of M when the heart is ready? If Dr. Devaney reaffirmed your decision, that must make you feel reassured. He knows her heart!
Just remember God is in control. As much as we like (I like) to think we are, He is altimately the one. We continue to pray for your strength and wisdom. We love you and will talk soon. Bob's cousin was out of the office yesterday, will try again today. Talk to you soon!

Suzie,
So glad I checked the blog first thing this morning. After all Lindsay has been through the past 3 weeks, her face says it all. She looks exhausted, yet DETERMINED. She truely is a fighter. I can't imagine being in your shoes and making the tough decisions you've had to make, but it just goes to show how strong you and Jr. really are. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you.
Love,
Travis, Jill & Reagan

wow...........just, wow. Having faith in the unknown and knowing that whatever happens is right is the greatest challenge. You're amazing.....she's beautiful! Though you may sway with the breeze of change and difficulty, your feet are firmly planted where your life grew roots. Your roots are solid and the wind is strong, but you are bending as you need and hanging on. Have a wonderful fall day! xox Kyle

Suzie,

Mark and Barb sent my the link to your page and I have meen following it for a few days. I so glad that Lindsay is doing (and looking) so much better. Reading through the history I can see what a hard time you have had. Only God can provide that much strength. My cancer is in remission and I am returning to work after 8 months. My family has had a hard time this year but your's has been crazy. I'm glad things are finally looking a little better.

Hi to all my cousins.

Junior - Aimee Gillespie brought Lindsay to my attention. To say the least, my family wishes you and your family nothing but the best. Know you have friends on the other side of the country thinking of you and Lindsay.

Suzie, JR & Princess Lindsay,

It's so good to read your words of confidence and hope. The prayers from your friends and stangers alike(from Florida to Alaska!)share the faith and strength God brings to us in difficult times if we trust in Him. You have been through so much, but God has given you the strength to persevere...Awesome! Thanks for giving all of us an opportunity to walk with you through this time.

Lindsay looks so sweet...I hope she is resting more comfortably now, and you get some rest too.

Tonight was Parchment's Homecoming and they had fireworks at half-time...first time ever I think. I can remember seeing Suzie twirl at games a ways back. In a few years you'll be able to have all three of your kids at Homecoming and have some fun, the bad times just a memory for awhile.

Take care,

Shauna Collison

We were just thinking about you Lindsay and hoping that you are getting better by the minute. We were also wondering if you were going to suit up and make it to State College, PA this afternoon because we might need your heart today against the Nittany Lions. I have faith that we can pull out an upset just like you have been fighting all along. We love you little Lindsay and sing the fight song in spirit with us today. Go Lindsay and Go Blue! We will see you next weekend!
