Update #2

Lindsay did fine after removing her shunt and this last update is Dr. Devaney was starting to insert the patch in her right atrium. Alicia, the nurse practitioner, wasn't sure if he had done any work yet on her tricuspid valve yet or not but will know that on the next update. Wasn't the right time to have a discussion with him. :-) We are all hanging in there and still praying that she keeps on this good path and that she soon comes off the heart/lung machine just fine.
Love, Suzie

I just got up, it is 4:15 and the first thing I did was check to see how Lindsay was doing. I'm glad she is doing good. My thoughts and prayers are still with all of you. I will check later. THANKS for the updates. Love Aunt Retta and Wade.

This is about the 15th check today. Now my classmates are waiting to hear too-- the Christian Veterinary Fellowship at school added Lindsay to their prayer list--they are really nice people. I'm glad everything is good so far.

Suzie, you have been heavy on my heart all day. I so vividly remember those endless hours of waiting and the helpless feeling it is as a parent. Praying peace for your heart and healing for Lindsays!

Hi All,
Lindsay is out of surgery and stable.
I have had a call from Linda about 8:30 pm I was not at home then, she asked me to post on the blog hopefully everyone reads all of these like I do. Suzie is having computer issues and is unable to post at this time, but will update us all when she gets back to the RM House. Linda did not bring her computer. I really don't know a whole lot other than that at this time. Keep those prayers coming they will need all we can give. It will be a long few more day.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts.

Love to all

THANK YOU TINA!! They know we are all worrying out here and leave it to Lin to find a way to get the message to us! God Bless you for getting the news to us that Lindsay is stable. We can all continue praying for Lindsay, Suzie and Jr, as well as all of the family tonight...but we can also take a deep breath knowing the surgery is behind them and that our Princess Lindsay is stable. God is good!

Love, Elaine

It sure was a great feeling to see Lindsay tonight! I can now be just a little more at ease knowing she is in great hands eventhough she is still at a very critical stage. Everyones prayers are so needed right now more than ever before. I got to go into the PICU and see her and she was sleeping of course the whole time. Her color looked really great and she even moved her toes a little for us. I think she was trying to say hi to her mommy and uncle Dan. It was very overwhelming to see her like that post-op when just last Saturday I saw her and she was laughing and giggling so hard that she pushed the Wisconsin Badgers right out of town! I enjoyed getting Cole at the airport and he was so excited to see Lindsay and his mom and dad. Dinner was good too with all of you tonight! I will see you all on Saturday! Sleep sweet Lindsay and you are in our deepest thoughts and prayers!
