A day of improvements and rest

Lindsay had a very impressive day of movements. She awoke a little and rubbed her eyes, crossed her legs, and started tapping her foot as she does normally. This a very good sign in regards to neurology requirements. They reduced her morphine down to 10 so she has been moving more, but not officially awake. Her eyes opened today about half way and her pupils are small to medium and responsive, so that is good news. Looks like the MRI won't be until Monday or so and hopefully by then she will be extubated. No one is in a hurry to do that so a good goal would be on Monday for extubation. Her body is reacting like it was transplanted AGAIN so she will just need time. Every day has been better and brighter. Keep praying. It is working!!!
Love, Suzie

We had a Healing service at Church tonight. It was perfect timing with my son's Surgery approaching. Also, I put Lindsay, Tommy, Sofi and Brittney on the prayer list. God is working. I am so happy to hear about Lindsay and the improvements. It just makes me smile.

ps - LOVE the picture slide. She is the sweetest thing I have ever seen!

Prayers coming your way!

You have one more person praying. I told my 2 (almost 3 year old) about our "Lindsay at work" and how she needs our help. Since then, Libby has been saying, "and God bless Lindsay" with her nightly prayers.
Keep going, princess, we're all cheering for you!!

Great news! Could you explain what you mean by "her body is reacting just like she had a transplant again."?

"He, who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ!" (Philippians 1:6b) Every day is work in progress. May your Faith increase in the good days and bad.

Love,
Angie

Good solid news...we will keep praying for a low key weekend for the princess. I can just SEE the morning wake up ritual with the tapping foot...so cute, right?!!!

Michelle posted the picture of the four of you out to dinner and it just made me so happy...two happy couples, out to dinner together...like NORMAL PEOPLE!!! Yeah for normal...even if afterwards you all went back to the hospital!

We are praying constantly for Lindsay and all the heart miracles at Mott...we love you all...

Praises for another "slow and steady" day! I saw the pic of you and the Hagerotts on Zachy's Care Page and I happened to notice a LOT of wine in the background (coincidence?!) Ha! Anyway, Vance and I leave on Sunday for a trip to Mexico and I would probably go crazy not be able to check on Lindsay and Zachary... thank goodness for my Blackberry :) I'll be checking on them from afar and rest assured, my prayers will not stop until I see those big blue eyes and "cheesy" grin again (and even then they won't stop!)! Love to you... Danielle
