Handing her over......

Well, I could tell you a nice little story about how she was still smiling and happy while we were escorted down to the OR, which she was, but I am just going to totally honest with all of you..........That sucked BIG TIME!!!! At around 1am, we handed our baby over to the anesthesiologists to take her to get her new heart. We love you princess and just know that you are going to do great! I will update again in an hour or so.
We love you~

All I can say is love you guys. Wish I was there to hug both of you. Prayers on the way and expanded the chain to a few online sources. Let us know if you need ANYTHING.
Keep us informed.

Oh my goodness!! It truly is complete torture to watch them get wheeled away. Reading your blog put me right back to that morning.

Oh the anxiety!!! I am shocked at how quickly it went by. Feel free to get as many updates from the team as you need them.

Get your hubby to rub your back and head! The day after Mia's transplant my body shut down. We had waited for something for what felt like an eternity and when it finally happened I don't think my body was able to process everything!! I was really sick- not contagious...my body just couldn't handle it all. I know you won't, but try and get some sleep!

Praying for you!!

Thinking about your family and praying for you tons. I feel like I need to stay up all night to continually check the blog and find out how your princess is doing. I pray that all goes perfect and that the Lord blesses you with a healthy girl. Lindsay is adorable and I love following and checking up on her. Prayers coming your way all through the night.

Updates should be every hour!!! I just found this from a friend's facebook, and I'll be praying for little Lindsay. It's amazing that even in a tough time like this, you are able to feel the love and support from all your friends and family through this blog. Simply wonderful.

WOW! The memories that brings back. I think that was one of the hardest parts for me. You know they need a new heart and happy that one is there but boy giving them over is tough. We are praying for you from Seattle!
