2nd sprint......

PERFECT!!!! I just called to check in and today's plan is to totally wean the nitric, start the sildenifil, rest, and now start the ativan drip. She is one active cookie! The most exciting news is that they totally removed the milrinone! That's right folks. The medicine that has kept her in the hospital since September. IT IS GONE!!!!!! Extubation is now planned for tomorrow morning sometime. They just want to give her the best opportunity to get this done. So, resting it is and letting the sildenifil do its job. I will update again later today.
We are getting there!!!!
Love, Suzie

It's great to hear how wonderful she is doing. Jessie was very happy to hear that Cole's sister in "Aunt Arbor" has a new heart now. She insists that is where Cole said she was when Cole prayed for her in school. We are so thankful for you!! Can't wait to see her running around the park soon!

Awesome news! What a Super Birthday presant. Brittney's was her Christmas presant, yours a birthday presant. How wonderful. For you birthday we donated to the Lindsay Dean fund! Even with insurance, we know how the costs add up. It was not much but I hope it helps:)

Lindsay is one tough cookie! I can't wait to hear about the extubation and when she begins to get around by herself and free of all the cords and restraints! I know that takes time though!

Go Lindsay Go!

Congradualates on Lindsay's new heart. I saw an article about her and thought I'd check out your blog. My son, Nick receieved a heart transplant 18 years ago and he has recently turned 20. He is attending college. There can be a great life after transplant. Not all has been easy but I'm glad to have him alive. Best of luck. I will keep check in on Lindsay.
