First sprint.....

and she did super!!! Her blood gas after her sprint off the vent looked perfect! Her next one will be at 3am for 1 hour. Cross your fingers that this one goes well too. Maybe later in the evening tomorrow (actually today) we can extubate! She is only on a morphine and milrinone drip and ativan every 4 hours. They were able to remove the epinephrine and dopamine drips earlier this evening. Well, all for now. Need to get some beauty sleep, Channel 3 news will be here at 12noon for an interview. Bags under my eyes wouldn't be too great. Love to you all!

THe princess is doing wonderfully!! I Love to check in and get such great news each time. I'm smiling ear to ear. Good luck on the news, you'll look great.

When we first went to UCLA and heard of Owen's antibodies, they kept saying, his chance of getting a heart is SO SLIM. There aren't many donors and if you have an antibody issue, it's not very likely to get one. I'm so sorry for the families that don't know better.

Lindsay, Sophie, Tommy, Joshua ... they have proved that theory wrong. God is in control and I have seen nothing but miracles happen!!!

Keep healing Lindsay!!

I am so encouraged by your story. I have a close friend with a HLHS daughter. I spend time with them last year in the CVICU during her Fontan surgery. She is almost 5 now. Your story is so encouraging to me. Your Lindsay is adorable! I just want to pick her up and squeeze those cheeks! I hope that she has a Happy Birthday and enjoys her new gift...her perfect heart!

With love,
Jennifer in Texas
