A good day of resting

Lindsay had her 3rd, and final, chest tube removed this morning! WHOO HOO!! She also had another EEG done and will get those results in the morning. We are crossing our fingers that no news right away, is good news. They decided to start her feeds again only at 5 cc's per hour and see if she can handle that through the night. Tomorrow we will address the issue of starting the Enfamil AR again once we get to more volume of her feeds. Also getting her started on Reglan again. Her ileuses look better, but are still there. Thanks by the way to the person that thought of that word for me the other day. ;-) So, we pray for her belly to tolerate her feeds and for her to stay comfortable and heal. Not much else to report. This is just a much slower healing process this time around but we think that she is gaining ground every day. Keep those prayers coming!
Heart Blessings~

Praying like crazy for Princess Lindsay!!! She is an amazing little girl,I think about her often now throughout the day, since becoming addicted to your blog, lol. My oldest daughter who is 2 saw her picture on the screen a few days ago.She loves pictures, and she said "oh a pretty baby",then she said "who's is it",lol. So I began to tell her that Lindsay had a sick heart,so Jesus sent her a new one,and that she was going to get lots better now.I asked her did she wanna pray with me for baby Lindsay, and she said huh huh,so we layed our hands on her picture,on the screen and she repeated after me.It was just the sweetest thing,we have been praying for Lindsay and will continue to do so.He complete healing is in the works!I have also been praying for God to send peace to you and your family, she has proved to be a little fighter, and it's only a matter of time till she will be completely healed!!!Thank you Jesus!Lots of love and prayers from Alabama!

Sounds like another good day of rest and recovery. Praying for good EEG results. Did she have her MRI yet? Has she been able to open her eyes all the way yet? Praying her belly will wake up so she can start eating and tolerate the foods. All in due time. I'm glad the doctor's are taking things so very slow with her. Healing takes time and I'm grateful everyone knows that at your hospital. Come on Princess Lindsay!!! You can do it. Keep fighting!!! Baby Steps---and we are all chearing those steps along. Always praying for you and your heart friends.

Thank you for the up-dates. I keep Lindsay in my prayers through out the day and in my nightly prayers.

Her progress sounds encouraging. Now, if her little tummy would just wake up.... which I feel it will. It just takes time.

Glad to see that Lindsay is still improving! Did they ever decide what caused the aspiration in the first place and why it happened so they can keep it from happening again?

All my good thoughts are with Lindsay and the rest of the family.

Suzie, I am typing this from my phone! I am on vacation in Mexico, yet Lindsay and her heart friends are never far from my mind. I have shared her miraculous and amazing story with several of my friends here and even showed her picture (from my phone) with them!

Anyway, this is great news! She really is a miracle on top of a miracle! I'm sure that most of us aren't even able to comprehend the severity of what has happened to her in the last week, but from what I can tell, she is even MORE of a miracle! Thanking the Lord, today, for her continued recovery and for allowing ME to see His mercy and power through Lindsay and her amazing journey! Love & prayers... Danielle
