Pictures from the big day!

Lindsay and Carlee got to celebrate their birthdays together!
Well, I think that face says it all. She had had it with the whole cake experience. Time for a nap!

Look people!!!!! I'm wearing purple!!!!! And it actually looks good on me now!

So silly!

She just loved playing in her cake. Of course I had tears in my eyes watching her dig in to it!

I had so much fun playing in my cake! I even tried some of it! Yummy!

AHHHHHH, a family photo. ;-)

Cake #2

Cakes #3 and 4 were for the staff to celebrate the big event. Thank you Sharon and Ashley for doing such a great job for us once again! We love you!

The big news of the the day is that she took a bottle!! We are starting very slow with 80 cc's every two hours to see how she does, but so far so good! Biopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, 3rd case so an estimated time of 1:30pm. But, we know how hospital time works.........
JR and I are now home for a couple of nights with the boys and preparing the house for the princess's arrival maybe next weekend or shortly after. Can you believe it?? I get butterflies in my stomach just typing it!

What an amazing little girl! I have been following your blog from almost the beginning. Lindsay is so full of life and just the most adorable thing I've ever seen (she is the only baby I can put into the same "cute category" as my own baby!) I stayed up all night waiting for updates when she got her new heart and get tears with almost every post you write. It's amazing how you can feel so connected to someone through words on a computer. I am so happy for your family, please give her a little love from Oregon!
Truely,
Lindsey

What a party and what a great birthday gift for all of you. How exciting to have her coming home soon, I get butterflies thinking of it for you!

Precious, precious! I can't believe she is eating cake 1 week after having a heart transplant! So many reasons to celebrate! She looks so good... and reading your words about going home as early as next week literally gave me goosebumps (or "hills on my skin" as Noah calls them!)! Love, Danielle

OMGosh I cant get over how quickly things change with a new heart. She just got a heart and she is getting to come home already, and eating cake and drinking bottles and laughing and playing, AMAZING! I am so in shock at how fast the healing goes when you get the perfect heart!

I am so happy for you all!
